In Your Pocket:
Financial incentives, rebates and technical assistance are available to
commercial property and store owners (and others!) who want to cut
energy costs at a level which actually affects cash flow. We aren't
talking just nickels and dimes here, folks. Energy systems include heat,
cooling, refrigeration, lighting. St J Works sponsored an excellent and
practical Efficiency Vermont workshop recently, and has information
available. There are currently about
12 projects underway in the St J area which are using Efficiency
Vermont's help. What do they know that you don't? Contact us for
information, or Efficiency Vermont directly: 1-888-921-5990. Or check
out their website www.efficiencyvermont.com.

This downtown event always gives a warm feeling. Several couples compete
to "hold that kiss" through various stunts, inclement weather,
and avid judging. Fabulous prizes, including a diamond ring (Thanks,
Sunshine Boutique) and lots of other incentives. Come join the fun! St.
Johnsbury Welcome Center, 12:00 noon.
Business
Series Ahead:
St. Johnsbury Works and Lyndonville
Savings Bank are providing a series of breakfast seminars to help your
business. What's ahead? Watch for seminars on healthcare, employment
practices, e:commerce, inventory control, lenders, and more. Watch for a
March Health Care Forum. If you have a topic idea or want to be on a
contact list, send St J Works an email at stjworks@kingcon.com.
Interactive
St J CD a HIT
We hit a nerve with this one, folks.
St J Works new interactive St. Johnsbury: A Great American Love Story is
a real hit, both locally and in places of which you've never dreamed. St
Johnsbury is winning oohs and ahhs for having "The Fresh Idea"
on this one. You can find this gem at Downtown retailers Uniquity,
Through the Woods, Boxcar & Caboose Bookstore, and the Fairbanks
Museum Gift Shop, for just $9.95 (or in bulk for $7.95 ea). These CDs
make great recruitment tools. Proceeds benefit St. Johnsbury Works, your
downtown advocate. We promise you'll learn something about this great
little town, increase your pride and be inspired. (see a photo HERE)
